Dr. Yoho serves as Professor of Bible and Theology at Tabernacle Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He studied at Lycoming College and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (1970) from Eastern University. He also studied at Faith Theological Seminary and later received both a Master of Arts (1972) and Doctor of Philosophy in English Bible (1974, minors in Biblical Languages and Theology) from Bob Jones University. He taught at Pensacola Christian College for 6 years; Colonial Baptist College for 2 years; Piedmont Bible College for 8 years; and is starting his 12th year at Tabernacle Baptist Bible College and Seminary. In his 34 years of experience, Dr. Yoho has served in various roles including college professor and administrator in addition to eleven years as a pastor. Dr. Yoho is the author of numerous books and booklets expositing Scripture and Biblical topics. He has been given the privilege -and joy- of representing Tabernacle in local churches.
Walter and his wife Joyce have been blessed by God with 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Joyce often accompanies Brother Yoho during speaking engagements and loves to play the trumpet and/or the mountain dulcimer when asked.
Those fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to hear Dr. Yoho speak will most assuredly attest to his ability to faithfully bring God's Word to your church or conference.
